Seminar on “Engineering Mind” was organized on 26-09-2018 by Mechanical department mesa Students. Prof. Dinesh Kumar Gupta guided the students on Engineering thoughts. Students of mechanical department enthusiastically participated the seminar. Prof. K. A. Chaudhari , HOD of Mechanical Department appreciated the programme and promised students to conduct such type of programmes for students in future also.
In the felicitation programme, all the faculty were felicitated by the students. Prof. K.A. Chaudhari (HOD- Mechanical Dept.), Prof. G. S, Darvankar (HOD – Production Dept.), Prof. Amit M. Dagade guided the students on this occasion. On behalf of all mechanical department students; special gifts were presented to all the teachers. The performance of students on stage exclusively for teachers were a memorable one.
Orientation Program for first year students & their parents was arranged on 01-08-2018 by Science and Humanity department for giving idea about academic activities to the students and parents. Programme was attained by Management, Faculty Members, Students & Parents. Prof. Deepali Keskar (HOD) introduced the first year curriculam with the CBCGS Evaluation System. Prof. V.J. Pillewan (Vice Principal – Academic) has given a piece of advice to the students. Dr. M.J. Lengare(Principal) delivered a speech and inspired the students to complete their engineering with a positive attitude. At the end Mr. Pradeepchandra Shrigarpure (CEO & Secretary) advised the parents to keep the track students while doing a course in the college and inspire them positively. Konkan Gyanpeeth College of Engineering, KGCE celebrated second Yoga day in the College Premises on 21, 2018 with great enthusiasm and vigour.. The Yoga Day was organized by college level NSS unit as per University of Mumbai Circular No. NSS/153/2017-18 dated 12/06/2017. Mrs. Manjiri Gogate conducted a meditation session in the morning and helped staff members & students to learn the positive impacts of meditation and understand the benefits of yoga. The staff members & students performed yogic exercises and ‘pranayam’ to celebrate this day. Total 83 staff and students participated in the event.
Every year since 2005, KGCE Alumni Association organizes alumni meet in the Konkan Gyanpeet College of Engineering, Karjat. This year the 13th Alumni meet was organised on 7th April 2018. The technical fest, Hyperrkube 2018 was jointly organized by IEEE, ITSA, MESA PESA, IESA and CSI ON 05th and 06th April 2018 in Konkan Gyanpeeth College of Engineering, Karjat. The technical events : robo Com, Robo Soccer , Circuit Designing, Fifa, Tech Quiz, Neon Carom, Neon Cricket, UV Bowling, CAd War, Pro Editing etc. were organized and the students Participated enthusiastically in all events in the Hypercube Function 2018
